Skate & Play
"Skate and Play" program is not your average walk in the park! Picture this: shelter dogs, a retired hockey pro on skates, and a bungee leash - the ultimate trio for a paw-some adventure! While one lucky dog glides like a pro, the rest get pampered with training and play by the RescueLove team. Let's roll towards our dream of getting a transport vehicle to give more shelter dogs the gift of outdoor fun and exercise!

Tabletop Adoptable
This marketing program collaborates with local restaurants, bars, and retail stores to showcase displays of adoptable animals for the public. QR codes are provided alongside photos and descriptions of the animals, allowing patrons to scan them for videos or additional adoption information. The selection of animals is rotated monthly to provide new ones with increased visibility. We appreciate every member of our community who participates in this initiative.

Doggie Playgroup
Introducing dogs to PLAYGROUP in a shelter environment highly improves their quality of life in a variety of ways. Playgroup creates a mental and physical outlet for institutionalized animals. We work to support shelters and teach proper dog-dog introductions, as well as what appropriate play looks like. Our program is modeled from Aimee Sadler's "Dogs Playing for Life" program.
Let’s Play!
We are huge advocates of promoting and teaching the benefits of animal PLAY! We offer play therapy consultations, which include rewarding enrichment activities that not only benefit the animals on a multitude of levels, but also bring joy and fun to the staff and volunteers participating.
Another priority objective is to offer support to animal rescues and foster families who are housing long term residents deemed to be difficult adoptions due to behavioral issues. Offering assessments and behavioral modification plans to assist the animals, staff, and volunteers is a priority.
